Developing the Future at the EU Cyber Acts Conference

Earlier this week, atsec attended the seventh installment of the EU Cyber Acts Conference in Brussels, Belgium.

As EUCC has now become reality, with Conformity Assessment Bodies achieving accreditation and/or authorization (don’t miss our blog entry about atsec’s CAB!), the focus of this year’s conference shifted more towards the next step of EU cybersecurity regulation: the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Markus Engqvist, atsec Sweden’s Lab Manager, also gave a presentation on the very same topic.

At the conference, panel discussions and presentations centered on how the CRA requirements will impact vendors and their products. The discussions covered industry adoption challenges, focusing on the essential security requirements, assessment of open-source components, vulnerability handling, and various options for conformance assessments.

Thanks to everyone for contributing to an interesting and successful conference!
