Company
Our mission is to provide our customers with professional and independent advice on information security that empowers their business and operations.
Our Principles
Founded in January 2000, atsec has since grown into an international company with offices around the world, an experienced staff, and a service portfolio that encompasses almost every aspect of information security assessment, testing, and evaluation.
From our very first project to our current global business activities, we have always followed these principles:

We know the business
Privately owned and globally trusted, atsec accredited labs are global leaders in evaluating and testing complex software-based IT systems for vendors and for government agencies.

We stay focused
atsec colleagues are information security experts. As such, atsec focuses solely on security assessments, testing, and evaluations. We do not provide services in any other areas, and we do not sell hardware, software, or any other ware.

We are independent
We are not affiliated with any hardware or software vendor, and we never will be. Our customers rely on us to be objective, so our credibility as security experts hinges on that independence. We have no interest in selling anything other than our security assessment, testing, and evaluation expertise.
Our history
Exclusively specialized in information security, atsec has grown since it was founded in January 2000 into an international company with offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Everybody shares the same vision, passion for IT security, and conviction that neutral and customer-oriented IT security services can only be provided by a company that is independent of products, vendors, outside capital, government agencies, and different ownership.
atsec’s strength is its independence, and our history is built on that independence.
